How to access beta features

Workspace admins can navigate to Settings → Beta to enable available beta features for their workspace. Beta features are enabled for the entire workspace and can be disabled at any time.

Giving feedback

We encourage users of our beta features to share their feedback with us so that we can continue to make improvements! Use the thumbs-up or thumbs-down icons throughout the product to provide your feedback. There are several ways to share feedback in Dovetail:
  • Thumbs up / thumbs down: Use these icons to rate a specific AI-generated result, such as a chat response, summary, or generated document. In Chat, selecting either option will also open a feedback form where you can provide additional context. After selecting a thumbs-down rating, you may also see a Send feedback prompt.
  • Give feedback / Send feedback: Use these options to share broader feedback, feature requests, ideas, or more detailed explanations about your experience.
  • Contact Support: Click More in the sidebar, then select Help → Contact us to open a conversation with our team. You can start your message with “leave feedback,” and your feedback will be routed directly to the appropriate team for review.
Providing specific details about what worked well or what could be improved helps our team better understand your feedback and prioritize future improvements.

Changes to features

Please be aware that beta features are classified as “Beta Products” under our Master Subscription Agreement and are subject to change over time. Obligations or warranties made under our agreement may not necessarily apply to Beta Products.

Yes, you can access beta features on a trial.Note that the Translation beta is only available on the Enterprise plan.
No, beta features are not available on Free plans.
